I wish I would have asked what the drivers made but Autozone doesn't penny pinch much. They make the money by being so huge that they dictate what they will pay for merchandise. They have actually destroyed suppliers by doing business with them, forcing expansions. Then when someone else gets the contract the original place can't pay the bills.
All I know is the trucks were maintained impeccably and the drivers were happy. Most had some kick ### houses and toys too that they showed me.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
autozone or trimac transportation

yep just like wally world and it shows how the think it is all about numbers that is the bottom line
I know a lot of trimac drivers out here in the patch and they are treated very well I almost hate to say it as they are a competitor in my gig and if I decided to be a company guy they would be on the short list
I don't really ever want to put up with a box again though nor if you took a poll would I bet that you find to many tanker guys that do -
I think not. I stopped and talked with one of their drivers today. 16 years with them!
$50-70K a year! 49.5 cents a mile. $15 stop pay He leaves Lexington TN 3am Monday and is home Thursday. 2000 miles a week. Home every weekend, good home time. Furtest he goes is Louisville KY.
Said they have Peoplenet in their trucks. If you go 6mph over the limit safety will be contacting you.
Their on time deliveries is 98.5% and the company is pushing for better
Nice looking Volvo, I heard the APU running..........
Sign me the up! -
might be good than my daughter sold parts for them at one time and in that they where just like any other discount retailer so I would have guessed that they thought about their drivers the same
in my neck of the woods the trimac guys are home every night and pretty much stay in about 150mile radius but that is in the crude oil part -
Amen driver. Would almost rather step in front of a train before I'd go back to bumping docks.

I tried to search for jobs on autozone. com. Go to careers at the bottom of the page.
I tried to get a truck driving job up. No success.
That driver told me he used to carry applications with him. Not anymore. -

Tank outfits are a different beast and must be treated as such. First they tend to be more terminal oriented. Each terminal can be like a company unto itself. Pay can vary wildy between terminals as well as frieght. You need to call the terminal that you wish to work for and get your info from them.im6under Thanks this.

While you're in Geismar, trot up the road (La30) a couple miles to Service Transport. We're busy and hiring too. New Internationals coming in with automatics and CPU's. We don't run system and we pay percentage. E-log with Peoplenet. 64 mph because we run into Ontario Can.
No forced dispatch (really) but you can stay out as long as you want. Pretty laid-back bunch.
Tell em the Crazy Canadian guy sentcha.
