In Australia we often call people that do this "Galahs" look it up on Google it is also a pretty pink parrot, you often see them on the side of the road feeding on seeds and such they also have a very bad habit of instead of flying away from a vehicle or at least flying higher then the vehicle, but instead choose to fly straight in front of your vehicle much to your amazement, so any wonder we've adopted the term "Galah' in relation to stupid things people do.

Like this one. This was a couple years ago , the 2011 F-650 I ran then.

You can clearly see he is well across the shoulder line .
He was loaded, and his rear trailer corner caught my deck and ran up it, tweaking the the deck downward.

Fortunately, my customer and I were at the rear of the deck on a the passenger side (I do not allow my customers to be on the traffic side, and I am on that side only long enough to get a J-hook slapped in).

Caning. Even that wouldnt make a difference. People in austin had gotten beyond ridiculous. I was a t a intersection one day. My light turned green. Here comes not one, not two, but three cars turning left thru the intersection. I honked at the third one, a middle aged lady who leaned way over in the seat and gave me the Finger lol - F you man how dare you honk at me - Unbelievable
