But in all seriousness - seems the first step would be .... hmmm ... what's that thing called? Oh yeah ..... the vehicle manual that came with the truck.

 

I’ve never seen that symbol, but might wanna check your iPhone just to cross that off the list.

 

If an old towman can see in 30 seconds that the driver has a '17 Volvo, and then in 90 seconds on the Internet find what those two symbols are along with every other symbol on his trucks dash ...... so can that driver.

I can't help if that comes off as me being a dick, but hell, this isn't an electrical conundrum, this is wanting others to put forth the effort to resolve ones own trucks dash symbols which are also in the manufacturer truck book that belongs in the truck! ..... sheesh

How do you know it isnt a 1917? Some trucking companies these days go to extremes to get around that DEF crap.

check the owners manual if it is still in the truck someplace. or go online to the manufacturers website for the PDF files and read thru them.
