Has anyone ordered a new Cascadia lately?
What were you quoted for price and delivery time?
Share your specs if you don’t mind.

I received a text a few days ago from a dealer: Harrison Truck Centers in IA - I think that one is in Cedar Falls, IA

    it read;
    ...
    14 2023 Cascadias available.
    DD15 and DT12 all with EW4 extended warranty for 4 years/600 000 miles
Price on each truck $200 000.

    ...

I don't have their office phone number, so look it up yourself on google, if you are interested.

There is a nice blue one at my local dealer. I peeked inside and looked around at outside. Shook my head and continued towards my pickup truck, FLD parts in hand all in stock. This last sentence always sets my mind straight when dreaming of a nice new truck.

I assume that 200k is the get it tomorrow price. I’m not desperate for a new truck.
My 2016 has 620,000 miles on it and I’m 5 years from retirement. Figured it will be cheaper to buy a new truck and sell it in 5 years than fixing the old one plus down time.
I’ll call around to get some prices and delivery time. If I can’t get a reasonable price there is always the early retirement option.

The price and availability of trucks went nuts, bonkers, bizarro awhile back. I think things are starting to get a bit better, but still pretty whacko! Unsure where things are headed next. Although my opinion doesn't count for much (company driver), I'd say drive your current rig till the wheels fall off and then retire.

    Wait a bit.

I called like 8 months ago they wouldn't take my order.

    TallJoe and JoeyJunk Thank this.

If fuel prices and rates stay like this they will start begging for orders.

They start showing up. Dealers' lots are filling up. This the phase 1. A few more months when anything over 3 dol per mile is a rarity at these fuel prices and they will start dropping the prices. Let's call it phase 2.

    P.S. I give myself 10-15 years before I retire.
I am awaiting phase 2 myself lol.
