Washington state would actually regulated as a trach. They have a separate trike endorsement for motorized 3 Wheel Rd. vehicles

I think the key to adoption of small vehicles is low price. I believe there is a massive demand for low cost personal travel. Whoever brings to market a reliable, cheap, and practical means of personal transportation will sell millions. The time for it is now more than ever. The biggest hurdle to adoption I see is sharing the road with the crazy masses of brain dead drivers in vehicles that weigh 5 times what small vehicles weigh.

My prediction is that no matter what happens, transportation will look completely different in a dozen years.

Some of the electric bicycles look promising.

i want one ,not to commute but for riding around the neighborhood.
Walking is way too slow and I have asthma and other issues and can’t ride except on flat ground and I live in an area with lots of hills .

I think a lot of the cost of vehicles is all the tech #### they pile into them.

Honestly I'd love to be able to buy a bare bones pickup with 350-400 hp, 4WD, 5 speed manual, no A/C and a basic stereo for $25k or less. I don't need any of the nanny crap, cameras, lane departure, stability control etc.

It wouldn’t be a motorcycle. It would be classified under whatever E-bike category it falls under.

They were supposed to build them at the old GM plant in Shreveport. Elio's marketing has suggested that 100 pre-production fleet vehicles could be built at its Shreveport, Louisiana manufacturing facility if additional funds are secured. By 2018, nearly all funds had been depleted, with nearly US$50 million in outstanding debt, and a projected US$376 million required to reach production.

Paul Elio took a lot of deposits from people but never built a production car. Scammer.
