Highly unlikely that DOT will ever ban eating while driving. Eating doesn't engage the mind like texting does. I don't even think about eating....I just do it! I'm a natural!

Chili? Who the hell can eat chili and drive? I eat and drive but finger stuff like burgers and chicken wings lol. If you got to use a spoon or a fork, prolly might wanna park it and gobble it on down and then go maybe.

Of course, you could still choke on a cheeseburger, but just the thought of a driver juggling with his friggin' ginormous cup of coffee and bowl of chili, spoon/spork while he's trying to drive is a bit funny lol.

The bad part is this guy hit the house so hard it pushed it 14" off the foundation, they have to leave the truck in the house till Monday, so they can call in experts to make sure it don't fall down. More Chili please.

My thoughts exactly. Especially something like Chili that can make a mess. I might do rice if I'm out in the middle of nowhere on a 4 lane without much traffic. But not chili. I wouldn't eat chicken wings either because they get all over the place. I mostly restrict my driving foods to sandwiches, burgers, chips, boneless chicken, pizza.

To me, the worst thing about this, is that he was eating "Wendys" chili. Last time I did that, (and it has been YEARS,) I was up all night, sicker than a dog. I won't go into particulars here, but I'll never eat chili at Wendys again!:pukeleft: :smt078 :pukeright:

Gee, thats intentive driving which should still get you a ticket, just like being on a cell phone. Why don't he just say, he ate Wendy's chili, pass gas and the fumes knocked him out. :biggrin_2559:
