Yeah from the info Ive gathered they seem to have a pretty solid program. I am just looking for a closer training location

 

Yes their training program looks to be the best one out there. The pay is less but its worth not having to pay upfront for training.

 

Yes no cost is great untill they screw you for the first year that you are there. After escrow deductions of $400 over a 4 month period, you will also be paying your tuition back on a weekly basis. expect weeks of 5 to 1100 miles at .25 - the 5% they are scamming off the top and did I fail to mention that if you take an advance you are going to get screwed on that too? Enjoy your year with PAM, that is if you last a year. THere is about an 85% turn over rate.
It all smells great that is untill you get your own truck and see how the Bozo before you trashed it........ P.S. the jugs are not lemonaid.

 

we had a guy that drove from north carolina and on the 3rd day they droped him. after that long drive he had to go all the way home with nothing. if you guys are looking there are alot of other comanys out there like stevens and pam, england and many others . see if you can get by a pilot or loves or ta or flying j and grab some of them free books they have and look thru them. food for thought. if you can get with pam then try to get a decated run and work 5 days and get a lil bit of the week end off.. i lucked out with my run. better then spending a month out ...

 

doe's pam have terminals ? they do where at

 

I will get out a list of terminals and other safe yards they use.
i know they have a shipper up there they haul alot of stuff from. ill post back later today.

channel 19 . try to get on a dedicated run. you will get more home time if you can find one out of your part of the states. i got one and get to come home for a couple days each weekend. depending on when we get in on friday's run and if we have a full week ahead of us . in by 6pm fri out sunday 6pm so i get a few good awake hours home with the ole lady and kids.
if you think you will do this till you are old and gray you may try talking to Stevens or crst they seem to have beater trucks and more opportunity's in house. with pam you are solo or team. work for peanuts and have to drive them blasted auto-sticks. i hate that set up. i cant shift when i want because the #### think beeps at me . give me 10 13 or 18 and no governor and ill get it there in time. i don't mind running 64mph on cruise but when you try to pass it takes for ever if they are running close to your speed. i would rather bang gears then get whip lash .

 

when does there pay period start and end,and do you get any holidays off. do you gotta get your own cb?
