Breaking In New Truck

    Im sure these are ran for X amount of time at the manufacturer to get any possible debris out

    I don’t remember when I did oil changes on the last 2 new rigs I had but it was much sooner just for that warm fuzzy insurance aspect

    I think my manual says 80k for changes
    I still don’t go 1/2 that and more like 30k

    I went around 5 k first time. Then 20k, oil samples say go longer so 30k-sample says still good oil. Gonna go 35 k and resample. 15w40 Delo xle

    I did mine around 20k as well. I get this new extended life can hold its value but I'll shorten the intervals by a few thousand just for peace of mind.
