This is the best forum I belong to. What credibility problem?

 

You're right, there is nobody making me stay. I would not want to leave as I find some parts of this board to be pretty cool in a relaxing/social aspect. At the same time, there is nothing at all to prevent someone from making false statements about a company in an attempt to slander the company, make themselves look good, entertain themselves by starting an argument, etc... That was my point. Anybody can say anything about any company here. No truth required or proof needed. Therefor, some would say that because of that, the company bashing that goes on in certain segments of this forum lack credibility.

I betcha if I edited this post to say "company X" did this rather than referring to the forum, this post would get 20 Thank Yous from various people just cause they love pessimism.

 

I agree with that too. This is the ONLY forum that I belong to. I have tried a few others, but found that to be boring and of little value.

 

I know it is a full moon tonight. Attitudes have been flaring everywhere. Not just this site.

All I can say is thank you guys for bringing real jobs to this forum. It was what it's here for.

I never said my statements had no merit. I was only apologizing for the harsh manner in which I made them and for comparing this company with JBH when I had no basis for comparison. I stand by my opinion that this company's starting wage is really low because there are too many variables working against you to make the full boat, but as was said by a staff member, I don't have to apply for this company if I don't want to.

Last thoughts, and it comes in the form of a vocabulary lesson:

Slander is when you speak something damaging that is a lie.
Libel is when you write something damaging that is a lie...

therefore, you should have said that i made libelous statements without merit.

 

Anyone that makes a decision on a career based on just one comment made by a total stranger is an idiot! I have read all the negative and all the positive posts regarding the companies that I have been interested in. Then I made contact with drivers from those companies to get first hand knowledge. I also did not stop with just one real person. I spoke with several.
This is an open forum and you have to do you homework!
