Ohio Truck Sales? They are proof that you CAN polish a turd! They put a cheap paint job on the truck and clean it up. As far as as the engine and drive train, good luck.

I’m not going to buy a truck from them, I was just saying they have a lot of good reviews so obviously some ppl have been satisfied with their trucks. But me I live in Texas, so any truck I buy will be from down here. I’m not going to drop 50k cash on a truck without an all inspection by a mechanic that I trust.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Guys with your thinking are the reason the used truck prices are 3x higher than they should be
Hope you have a nice shop and are mechanically inclined.. with a hefty check book
Best of luck to yakuzima93, Another Canadian driver, larry2903 and 5 others Thank this. -
When I hear the term "quality" when refering to a used truck, I define it as 100% work ready, ultra-clean and with all major components overhauled in the last year or so. You're not getting a 25-30 year old truck like that for under $100k.

Thing folks don't tend to think about with used trucks of that vintage is the nickle and dime crap like air lines, wiring, bolts and fasteners corroding, 30 years of frame stress etc.
Personally, I'd pay more $$$$ for a truck with a brand new frame, new wiring/hoses and a half worn out engine than an old beater with a fresh inframe.Coffey, Another Canadian driver, larry2903 and 5 others Thank this. -
Your spot on ..
Wait till he's sitting along side the road with 45 mins to make his unload appointment because a airline broke due to age and he misses his unload or load appointment.. and that 30.00 line now costs him a 1500 load .. .. But he'll look good sitting there with his shinny quality pre computer truck while he waits for the 200. Service truckAModelCat, Vampire, Another Canadian driver and 3 others Thank this. -

It’s ppl like you who said I couldn’t do it from the beginning, got my cdl with no experience. Went for broke and here I am 7 months later with enough to purchase another truck/trailer with the money in the bank to handle anything that comes up. Ppl that are successful put their all into and are able to adapt to the situation when it gets tough. Good LUCK to you though I’ll keep betting on my hard work and drive. No luck to it.kuzima93, Itsbrokeagain, chevyryder86 and 3 others Thank this.
