Peterbilt, Kenworth plan to exhibit at ’10 MATS

They have new goodies to show off as they should.

 

Have they learned how to mount interior panels so they don't rattle incessantly yet?

 

NO we have a new 660 the drivers door rattles like a ####### at idle. the driver does not complain so its not worth the time to fix.

 

Ok, then have they learned how to make the cruise control work properly? Like if you set it to 70, it goes 70 instead of slowing down to 66 and them flooring it back up to 74 constantly.

How about windshield wipers, do they make any for a flat windshield that do more than smear the water around and leave black crud caked on the glass? Or the sprayers, do they hit the windshield or do they still put out two pathetic little streams?

 

Has Peterbilt fixed the sleeper vents so they will actually close tight, and fix the sleeper wall so it won't flop in and out when wind hits it while driving down the road. It would be nice to be able to see over the too tall plastic dash also.

 

ecm problem, rain-x wipers I like them, and the squiters on our new ones spray. I will say they last five new Kenworths Ive seen all of them the doors where not aligned either it pinched and wrecked the gasket or it didn't touch and wind noise. Inner fenders on 660 suck, salt road spray bakes on every thing the 700 seems to have same.

 

I haven't found rain-x wipers in this size. I've got the t-800 with the wipers that were designed in 1908 I think. Work just as well now as they did then.

My door is misaligned a little too. I like that nice constant draft of cold air that constantly blows through it, it's a nice touch of american built quality.

 

I diplayed my new bent frame kenworth at a show back in 95 . Kenworth closed there booth after haveing to answer to everyone there asking them how could kenworth ignore the obvious major defects and issues that my truck display pointed out.
