I think us swapping is more to work with me getting short on hours an still be able to keep us moving. But then again you can't take off from the st louis area on Wednesday morning an be able to make a delivery somewhere east of palmyra by Thursday morning, not solo anyways. Travis said he'll figure out tomorrow where we're gonna swap at an send me the info. At Bluffton. Got 7 hrs left on my 70. Gonna have the mrs take us from here to ohio an then start the day tomorrow. Maybe she won't have to go too far to swap. If not she may be able to run all the way to new holland pa. If that happens then I'll have a reset by Thursday morning. If not i'll run what i got left an start getting hours back Thursday night.

Been receiving ads for local flatbed gigs around home. Home nightly. Saying it pays 1900 a week at two places an 1800 a week at another. The latter would be a mix of hauling block on flats an pulling dumps and pneumatic tankers. Sure is something to consider. Make that kinda coin an sleep in your own bed every night.

 

I guess that makes me ancient!

 

Anyway I'm doing very well. No more severe abdominal pain. Sitting at refresco in Waco waiting to see what's next. I'd love to get me one of those runs to Ogden or Phoenix, but Justin keeps telling me only teams get those. It doesn't seem to matter that I told him I had a buddy that's a solo that gets em, but heck it's all good I still get around 3 gs a week, so it's fine. My one year anniversary is coming up on the 6th. No regrets. I like it here alot. The good friends I have made, makes it even better.
