Lots of local CDL jobs available in the Jacksonville, FL area--you're fortunate, in that regard.

The "4 on, 4 off" would be a cool gig (see post #4, above)--if you could score it.

DOT is a good company to work for.

But that won't be a "home daily" job.

Pass by the local fuel hauling gigs until you get A LOT more experience.

Those jobs aren't really good places for rookies.

Also: if Old Dominion Freight has a terminal near you (and they really should)--be sure and check them out, as well...for a home daily job.

Hope you don't turn out to really be a "turkey" behind the wheel of a big rig....
