Lol they say you're only as old as you feel. I'm 38 but feel like I'm still in my early 20s lol.....mdm, you getting closer to 30 just means you get better with age. I'd take ya to the strip club if I were near ya......you turning 30 is worth about 3 lap dances hahahahahahaha

It's definitely something to consider that's big money without having to run Climate Miles. It's worth an inquiry.

I'm glad to see you're feeling much better my friend. It's hard to believe how fast these years go buy when you work over here. You stay so busy that time just flows by here. Justin may tell you that, but eventually you'll end up getting one of those. Honestly, they never sent me out there til this calendar year and I'm in my 3rd year. Other solos have been sent out there and put in less time. I just got lucky I guess. I share your thought though....as long as those miles add up I don't care how they do it. I'll go wherever they tell me.

We have one solo driver who lives out there not far east of phoenix. We swapped trailers with him one time at his parking area. An I've seen other solo's out there when we were out there before as well. It's definitely easy running getting longer runs of that nature.

Oh yeah it is....the path to 3k miles s definitely easier with the long hauls. It's not quite as taxing to run that way. I do understand them prioritizing teams for those loads though.

haha ok good. I didn’t peg you for a traitor so I’m glad I was right. Next time you’re in Union and you want a break from Mexican you should check out China King. It’s really good and it’ll test your fridge capacity in the Volvo. You get ALOT.

Yea but that's the point. They don't make those runs a priority for teams. It's all luck of the draw as to where drivers are at in relation to freight needs an hours available. For example, say you're in the union area 16 miles from smith foods an they've got a phoenix load that has to be out there in 3 or 4 days an you have the hours an ability to fo it. They're not gonna hold that load for 2 days just to get a team routed thru to get it an run it just in time. They're gonna give it to you the solo driver cuz you're in the right place at the right time. So for Justin to say they keep those for teams is complete BS!! Planners an dispatchers have a list of stuff to cover every day an it gets assigned by drivers location an hours of availability or ability to accomplish the mission. That's how I've always been planned here in the 5 1/2 years I've been here solo or team.

Bro, I been here 5 1/2 yrs. Not saying i wouldn't ever make a change but this place ranks in the top 5 out of the jobs I've had in the last 30 yrs. Honestly if i left i'd feel like i had abandoned my family. The other drivers that I've met here an talk to especially on here truly feel like brothers to me.
