Walmart.com has instock this morning

It is even harder to find 0w or 5w40 esp. Rotella, Mobil Delvac + most others.
Also it is very hit + miss for DEF as many stores either don't have the 2.5 gallon AIR1 or Blue type or they are being limited due to low stock. All this because of UREA shortages from mostly Russia, China + India.
It is still going to take a few more months for all this to play out on a large scale but come late this year +/or the1st half of 2023 + very likely beyond this could turn out to be a real sheet show for Diesel run machines of all types esp. 2010 or later.
All i can STRONGLY suggest is buy when + while you still can which is already spotty as much of these 2 things as possible because even if it does not turn out to be that sheet show...your going to use your stock up anyway + store your DEF while you can still find it in a cool dark place so it can last around 2 years if it is of a current/fresh date when you bought it and a little off topic make that canned/dry food in great quantity also but i don't have an hour to talk about that.armo and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
We just picked up a few pails of 5W-40 to service some machines. No issue getting it yet.
There's more than just Rotella and Delvac out there for oil. Oil's oil. If it meets the manufacturer's specs who really cares what the label on the pail says?Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Great keep it going while you can. Calculate how much you need for next year also....you will be thankful you did sometime in 2023.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

So far, so good. Just changed it, used 7 gallons of Valvoline and 3 Delvac. I had bought the Valvoline, a few months back, and later found Delvac. That’s the last oil I had. Been trying to buy it whenever I see it at Walmart’s along the way. It’s been scarce. I just bought 6 cases (24gal) at my Local Walmart. We have a lot of O/O’s around here. Shelves are usually empty. I left about 6 cases. Tempting to buy it all up. Considering it’s $13.68, and the TS is $30. Even the big 3 Auto Parts want about $20 a gallon. I’ve noticed they too are often sold out of Delvac. The Valvoline was on sale at O Reilly’s. Maybe a different set of detergents will do it good.

If you have a BJ’s wholesale club near you they have this on sale
Just over $9 gallon

We do have a new one nearby. I often catch it on rollback at Walmart for $12 or so. That’s the best I’ve ever seen. $9.49 gal. Going to join the club now for sure

No shortage. If you get with an oil company, they will deliver you pallets of 5 gallon buckets or barrels. They will even have a truckload delivered to your location if needed. I use Northern-Energy. It’s hard to count on a grocery store for oil… A o/o comes in a takes enough for two oil changes. 22 gallons.. well not much shelf space for more. Stop shopping for oil at a food store if you are expecting volume. If you are in a commercial industry use a commercial supplier
