I would do nothing but drive the truck to the house, city/town won’t have a clue what’s posted and #### the cops, easier to beg for forgiveness then ask permission. You are not going through, you are going home
If I had a dollar for every time I went Down/over a no truck route I could buy pizza and beer for the whole forum
I live on a no thru trucks road, and bringing my truck home.

I once was up in Pennsylvania in a very small town that had a no through trucks section. I was trying to get to a shipper and it was a very weird route that if you didn’t know how to get to the side road, no GPS was gonna take you there. About my third time driving the truck around this town and down this road that I technically wasn’t supposed to be on A cop pulled up beside me and said follow me I know where you’re trying to go. Lol no ticket, he didn’t even care and saved me a big headache.

Missouri has both no trucks and no thru trucks.
no trucks means just that. No trucks.
no thru trucks means “if you’re delivering here it’s ok”Siinman and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I would check the land use bylaws as well. I used to live in a city where you weren't allowed to park anything larger than a 1 ton in your driveway or on the street in front of your house.

I wouldn’t worry about it. No Trucks, Is worry. No Through Trucks, not a problem. Be sure to go in and out the same way. Lol. The sign says it all. The law is what’s posted.
D.Tibbitt and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
My favorite was a Chrysler (iirc) parts center in Milwaukee. 6am to 6pm was one route and 6pm to 6am was another due to truck restrictions that are time based.
-
You cannot go down the road regardless. They will ticket you right away. Have cops just waiting for it to happen. See it happen all the time.

I have that issue where I live now.
-
That is incorrect. Based on your logic. People on that street could never get a delivery. SMHStudebaker Hawk and Siinman Thank this.

Like I said it happened to me and I park in that area. There is ways around it but they do not post truck routes on purpose and make it confusing. It is all about a money grab. Started really pushing it when Covid hit and have been nailing people every since.
