This one right here. I was I had some Pyro to highlight this post.
@Gamechangerzz please don't pay attention to any other post besides this one. I beg of you. We got members on here, and they know who they are, that have been seeking information on just about every company in the industry for the better part of 2 years now. So many people are always talking about, "I gotta research thia company." I don't what there is to research especially since your success in this industry is contingent on what you put into it. Get trained, get experience, stay a year, get more money.

Oh God yes. CRE has a very good school.
You're summed up when you're in that school.
They don't put the street urchin with the buttoned down shirt guy.
But it is tough sledding for a year.
I don't know if they still do it, but they'd feed and house guys too.
And they have SOOOOO many babes.D.Tibbitt, Another Canadian driver, Vic Firth and 1 other person Thank this. -

Where do you live?

Hanging up...that tells you right there - next. Google trucking companies that train, pick one, call them and interview them until you have a winner.77fib77 and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

The tanker drivers make even more than reefer or dry van drivers.
Have an easier life and get more respect.
@lual may confirm.kemosabi49 Thanks this. -
Agree stay away from crst. If you are in TX. Go with Stevens Transport. They take the time after you get your CDL to properly train you.
Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Forget reefer, forget dryvan. If you really wan't to make money you'll need to join a chain-gang. The difference is eating grilled cheese on stale bread vs ribeye for dinner. Sure, it's more work...but in this business no company driver makes really good money hauling vans. There are always exceptions, but with no experience you aren't the exception. Those bottom-feeder companies will make you their victim.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Tanker is both easy and incredibly punishing. It is hard to keep a tanker job as a new driver. Must bring your A game.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
