Sensors and cameras watching a tarp bungie, got it captain.
Meanwhile the countless sensors and cameras can't stop Teslas from running over motorcycles.

Just goes to show we are a long way from robots taking over the world.
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Then we get an Archer and Barry face off
God prefers Diesels Thanks this. -
This is all entertainment for me.
If you all would stop replying to this near 300 page thread there would be a lot less for me to come back to but seemingly you all keep coming back for more.
We literally went from cheap rates to robot trucks taking over the world and them having cameras to watch tarp bungies. This crap is golden

Meanwhile rates still suck.
pete781693, RefMata, Phoenix Heavy Haul and 2 others Thank this. -
Pretty simple actually. Many ways to to make sure the truck knows if a strap is broken. One being continuity, a simple electrical wire going through the strap tested at each point. Second self adjusting straps where the tension is automatically adjusted.
Very many ways to fix these issue.
Also i have seen many loads fail yet trucks are still on the road and not banned. Remember you are expendable in the governments eyes.God prefers Diesels, D.Tibbitt and gentleroger Thank this. -
Soo where is all this safetly tech and robotics at now then?
-
Rates getting worse every week.
At least fuel went down a bit.
But what good is that?
Same as your wife divorcing you and taking everything but then you realize you're broke so shes getting nothing anyway.
pete781693, LoneRanger and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Why do you quote me and then post stuff that has nothing to do with what you quoted me on? You brought up securement, I gave examples of securement and weather protecting cargo that are already used on flat deck containers. You post articles about Tesla. Makes zero sense.God prefers Diesels, D.Tibbitt, Diesel Dave and 1 other person Thank this.

They do. When this thread started i was doing ok. Rates for FB had been unaffected. FB rates dropped 30 cents while i was off 13 days late July, and in my home area available loads from this time last year to today have dropped close to 70% by my figures.
Being a successful business owner means being responsible when you prosper, and downright tight when the need arises. Also being a bit fluid gives you an advantage. Stuck in the 'I go here, to here, to here" mentality might cost you a business.
I still grossed 12.6k$ last Wednesday to this morning. I was doing ok then, still doing ok, but I'm hustling a bit more.Last edited: Aug 11, 2022
