I want to know why the truck got stuck. Sadly, only the trucker will probably ever know. You know he lied about it. :)
edit: Ok. Watched the video. Crossing was too steep to get over with a truck, big no truck sign. Driver is an IDIOT.

But like, theres different ways to get stuck on tracks. For example, I used to live at one of the top 10 most dangerous railroad crossings in Michigan. No one here probably knows where it is, but it's by the junction of County Line Rd AKA 70th Street and Red Arrow Highway in Watervliet, MI. Crossing is safe now, fairly smooth and has full gates and lights...looks VERY out of place, its a country road out in the boonies.

But it used to be very bumpy, you had to just barely roll to get over it without hurting yourself or your vehicle. 1mph max. And there was a stop sign for it, so...you arent going very fast anyway. No lights, gates, bells, nothing, and several potholes at the rails. Not even a streetlight. Just a stop sign and railroad crossing signs and paintings. Well, I had a train stopped one time because it was very icy one day in the winter and a guy got a 1/2 ton pickup stuck. It really isnt his fault he got stuck. However his reaction was his fault and very stupid. He would not get out of the truck. He just sat there spinning his tires and spinning his tires.

I'm sure that he simply got stuck because it was icy, you have to stop before crossing the crossing, and you cant get up to a safe speed before crossing it, and the crossing is stupid. He would've had plenty of reason to sue CSX, honestly.

Had to have 911 stop a big freight train so this moron wouldn't get killed! WTF? He had been stuck for quite a while before the train came. Plenty of time to do SOMETHING. Anything. He probably didnt have money but this is a matter of public safety. Not just him and his truck.

Public ignorance of trains is just...such an "ignorance is bliss" situation, you know. Since I had called 911, THEY got the train stopped. Once you can see a train, it is COMMITTED to making that crossing. it can NOT stop in time. But anyhow, someone thought it was a good idea to stand in the middle of the tracks, facing a big train, waving their hands in the air. WTF?

People got killed at that crossing all the time. Literally, all the time. We slept through it mostly too. That road is a favorite road for drunks to take to get home from the bar without getting caught. Even though police knew that and frequently staked it out at night. It wasn't really people getting stuck, but mostly running the stop sign. One drunk ran the stop sign, went airborne (!!!), and landed at a bad angle...rolled into a ditch. Died on impact. Estimated speed was over 100mph. 100 times faster than the safe speed for that crossing. Must be some good booze these people are drinking.

I remember walking along that track, and there were debris from wrecks all over. I mean, most crossings have a little wreck debris around them, but this was a LOT.

Appears that he high centered it on the landing gear of the trailer. Would imagine that would be the reasoning of the NO TRUCKS sign. One would think that a local food service going to a local restaurant might should have known. Might have been the only way in and out of said restaurant. Might have had the tandems slid back and got the landing gear hung up. Either way wrong place at the wrong time. The intview with the cops said 2 minutes pass from the time off the 911 call to impact, one would wonder why the railroad wasn't contacted, I think that might be a standard procedure of sorts.

Most people dont know, but 911 is NOT the best option for a RR emergency. Posted on crossings (usually at the big metal control box) is a sign that says in case of emergency call 1-800-XXX-XXXX. Then it gives the crossing ID to refer to. This emergency # goes direct to the RR, so they are on it like NOW with no in between time.

Especially interesting when they call in their train on fire and give locations that the fire dept does not even have.

Yep,you gotta call 911 then they gotta figure what railroad it is(name the railroads in your town) gotta call the railroad. The place you call is in another state.Tell them the exact location of the crossing(remember there are millions of crossings in the USA).THey gotta contact the dispatcher after they figure out which one. Then they gotta figure out what trains are close(this ain't like you see in the movies where there is a HUGE board that shows via GPS the exact location of the trains to the inch nation wide) and call out their train number. The train crew has to acknowledge the call and then the dispatch can tell them there is a truck stuck at mile post 362.1 or whatever. The crew can hit the brakes and pray they stop in time. From the call to the braking can take SEVERAL minutes. Not like calling 911 and they just yell out over the radio.
