My wife fell down a flight of stairs, and had 3 discs removed, and three more fused (her doc called her an errector set) the discs that were fused were reinforced with aluminum supports and there is an aluminum rod and spacers in her back.
Anyway, she was in SERIOUS pain for about 3 months after surgery. They said this is normal, because of the nerves that were pinched getting back to normal.
4 years later, she is 100% fine, although she isn't supposed to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk the rest of her life or reach both arms over her head at the same time or else she could hyper extend.

let them know that you can't make it, and let you drop it at west valley
-
good luck at the doc's tomorrow. Is your doc a pain management specialist? If not he might be referring you to one. There are a lot of other meds that can treat the pain. I'm guessing you doc was giving you the most common ones.

I put it on qc. I might barely make it to west valley maybe w/ minutes to spare before I go into violation

Widow please post and let us know what is going on....Never had back surgery myself so I don't know what is normal and what is not...And I am still keeping you and yours in my prayers and my thoughts...

Well I get to go back to class on 2/8 in West Valley. I hate how much time was lost all because of a birth certificate but at least I get to go back.
Anyone else going to be in the class that starts on 2/8? -
Two thoughts Mikley. First if you can complete this they will want to draft you...understand there are dedicated Freddy runs, second look at all the mental math that kept you going (lol). Good Job Mikely. It was also a great suggestion to actively pursue alternatives such as tagging with a team. Wish the response times were more timely. Funny when the question is from the War room they want instant answers????
Also, for the wannabies this greek will translate to english if you pursue this career path. It is extreme frustration for some very dedicated people who despite all the obstacles still try every avenue possible to accomplish the mission. The variables include, but not limited to: weather, equipment, personalities and the dreaded unknown.

One other thought...Freddy times can have windows. Not perfect, but a question to ask.

Widow, not much on prayers myself but will keep you in my thoughts and have a chat with my Higher Power while at it.
Managed to get caught up on some of my much needed sleep yeterday. Still seem 2b doing the night driving bit with naps during the day. Am at a wally world in North Platte and looks like I might be here awhile. For some reason the freight is slow out of here. Anybody else here with an extra shower credit? lolnewtruckerwidow Thanks this.
