What are you driving? Mixer? Powder truck? A lot of people really like mixers and make a career out of them.

 

Western express fontana, CA. They hire unsafe drivers. Stop by the yard sometime, there are rows of truck with cosmetic damage?!?!

Their trucks are missing skirts, chipped, cracked, bent fairings, covered in grime and dirt.

 

My advice for a driver in orientation for western express.

No help from no one. A lot of waiting, trucks are sitting in the shop, no answers from DM, recruiter, they will leave you out there to dry. No one answers the phone on weekends. If you come to work for western express, bring a disaster kit! Emergency relief lol!

 

I did warn you about taking too much stuff.
A trainer that would make you try to sleep on the top bunk while he is driving does not care about anything but the extra money you are bringing in to him.

I wrote a long response, but deleted it. I won’t change anyones mind regardless of my experience and what I know.

I had a great time at WE. Made some good friends there. Two have followed me to landstar and are doing great.

Your attitude will determine how well you do and how far you get.
