Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

Fords hiring more than they’re laying off. Lots of changes going on at Ford. The numbers include 1/3 contract employees. Technically they’re not even employees. All part of the transition to EVs . The EVs are so fast, every idiot driving around now in Challengers and Mustangs making a bunch of noise is going to be very disappointed when any crappy little EV commuter car can blow their doors off!!

 

I'm surprised they aren't closing at the end of the year. That's when a lot of contributions, bonuses would be void. Some employers specify an employee needs to work to the end of the year to get something like a contribution to 401K that would match the employee's, etc.

 

There will be no crappy commuter car EV's that can blow anybody's doors off. Base model Mustang EV Mach has 266HP. People are taking $100+K performance EV's numbers and attributing those to every EV out there, like you just did. Your Nissan Leaf is not a Tesla S Plaid.

Reality is at a working mans price point ICE vehicle still provide better performance value. Better value overall really.

 

They need school drivers everywhere.

School bus drivers need to be purer than the purest Holy man.

You'd think if this autonomous BS was so safe, it would be deployed in school buses.

Maybe the EVs will cause the price of oil to come down. Less demand.
