DAC report, what a joke

If you are thinking about working for a " Bottom Feeder Trucking Company", that uses DAC,you may need a "Drug Test"

 

Driver,If you were thinking of Wiping your ### with your DAC Report,just make sure you do it at the Bathroom of the Mega Bottom Feeder Trucking Company, because this kind of paper will plug up the #######

 

well maybe we should find a way to require more eco friendly and more biodegradable paper

 

How did you get the info removed? Or did you just send a rebuttal?

 

had to do a rebuttal and keep fighting it.

 

How long after you requested it did it take to get to you?

I requested mine about 10 days ago and still have not received it.

 

I could not agree more! to logic/common sense or what us Drivers know! Dac is nothing but a slandering parasitic...organization that ruins peoples lives,and could not care less! How is it" that they exist? Discrimination is not allowed against any one in America. Except if your an American Truck Driver! How? Why? are we less" than every body else? I keep hearing about all" the compaines; small" etc...that know and disregard Dac BS! But I sure can't find one! I have about 10 yrs OTR no accidents-no tickets-no points.class A w Haz. I've been back stabed with a few...remarks from some 4th rate co's that I worked for very short term. I seen what they were, left, and found out I've been slandered! tryin to get it cleared up" but it is not as easy as it should be! How long was the process and did you pay a lawyer, or DACfix?

Emails? Phone calls? Faxes?

Then how did you know for sure it was fixed?

 

It took 3 to 4 weeks to get my origanal dac report, then i had to do a rebuttal which took a few weeks , then a few months ago i called them to tell them they needed to take one off due to it was over 7 years old, they said it stays forever, then i just got a new dac from them yesterday, i didnt even send for it nor did i call them this time, but if you have some real bad info on your dac you might need to get a lawyer to go after the company that put it there. Hireright gets out of being sued as the fair credit reporting act, im not sure how that is the same as reporting on an employee work record as its not a credit thing. If there is a lawyer in the forum please explain that one.

 

C R England got me a few years ago, I just found out today that they put me for "abandonment".

And I dont know how or why they did it. How the story went was, I was parked at the customer was backed into a dock and in the sleeper when some idiot backed into my headlight and smashed it.

I had to go get the truck fixed, but after 2 weeks of being in a hotel while NOT getting paid and they didnt even start working on the truck yet because of insurance disputes I called em up and said Im going home. Truck is in the shop and thats where you told me to go. I paid for my way home and they took all my money that was left on my fuel card because I was still paying on my training.

So, now Im desperate for work after my last company closed up shop and since this is on my report..........CANNOT BE HIRED.

Im about ready to give up on this career, Im 27, I can do something else. But this whole thing has just been a nightmare I wish to forget. Small companies arent hiring right now......and large ones go by this DAC report so Im pretty much screwed.
