Like the president of Wal-Mart transportation sez in the recruiting commercials " you deserve to be paid for all aspects of the job" lol

And I think that Walmart is dragging the rest of them to the table.
Recently my company has announced that they are going to pay for "on duty" time.
Something that was unheard of less than a year ago......except for Walmart.
So, again, while im not rushing to Walmart's gate, and I'll never go (assuming they'd take me to begin with), for the right kind of driver, it's a pretty good deal. -
These types of jobs while high paying require a high tolerance for incompetence and general BS.
While we grip amongst ourselves most just let it roll off the back like water on a duck.rollin coal, JoeyJunk, drvrtech77 and 3 others Thank this. -
Kinda like the Army...."yes sir", and roll onJoeyJunk, mjd4277, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.

Brother, that's a good thought actually. I've seen Walmart drivers at truck stops a helluva lot more myself. I talked to my friend a while ago. I told him to take a pic of that hat with the camera on it. I want to see what that looks like. I'll definitely post it on here. I think they're going to have him run the reefer side for a while. He'll have an assigned truck til they get fully staffed then they'll slip seat.Last edited: Sep 3, 2022
