Well, everyone, since my last post "blew up", I'll try something completely different. The window of opportunity that I had has expired. Now, I'm looking for an O/O who is willing to let me run solo...east-west preferably. I have a solid work ethic, I believe in honesty and integrity. I will treat the truck as if it were my own. I have worked for O/Os before and found the work highly rewarding. I am a runner and I firmly believe that safety should come first. I have minor experience in flatbed, major experience in reefer and dry box. I ask only one thing, however. That I be allowed to come home for at least 3 days each month. I will have my husband as my passenger. He's a former driver who now cannot drive. He had 27+/- years OTR and he is the one who trained me. I prefer east-west as the great NE has yet to expand their roads to accomodate large trucks. I have driven Volvos, Petes, KWs, and even a Freightliner. I have had Volvo engines, CATs, Detroits, and Cummins. I've gotten to drive a 13sp (which I adored), 10sp and even an automatic. I have 2 years solid and entering my third season. I have 0 accidents, 0 tickets, and 0 points on my license. I haven't ever been charged *or* convicted of anything. Ever. I'd prefer being able to run my logs legal, but I can get creative when the need arises. I can provide my resume upon request and I am able to say that I have *never* tested positive for anything ever in my life! I don't drink or do drugs. My only vice is I'm a smoker and I love soda. So with that being said, if you think you'd be able to put me to work, email me either here or at sd_craddock@yahoo.com. I'm not hard to talk to and I prefer honesty to being lied to as lies have a tendency to catch up with the teller. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

A special note to my post here: I posted my email address in my post and then I was told that someone had tried to email me through the portal here. I never got it, so if you want to contact me, you might want to try copying and pasting my email in your normal outgoing email address line. I don't know what happened but I never got the email from the guy and I don't want anyone to feel like I'm ignoring them, especially when it's as important as a job. Please feel free to try again but this time, copy and paste my email address manually. Thank you.

Wow! It's too bad we can't come up with a truck between the two of us. The way you describe yourself almost describes me to a tee except I'm 60 with only 7 months OTR and looking for employment preferably locally but would go OTR again if the money is right...this time. I also live in NC about 1 1/2 hrs-2 hrs from you in Norwood about 11 miles south of Albemarle. Good luck to you, and if you find that o/o with 2 free trucks please let me know. tipimonte@yahoo.com
