The FASS may not add any mileage if your fuel system is healthy and is not sucking any air. I didn't see any real gain in MPG, but the big improvement came in the form of having the same pulling power all day long. Even after a long day of running in 90*+ heat the truck will pull the same as it did early in the morning in. Personally I think the FASS or a Davco are well worth their money just for the better filtration abilities
Cat nip and montana cowboy Thank this. -
Anyone know the cheapest place to get the FASS for a CAT?

how much do these systems run? i'm interested in the extra fuel & oil filtering.

Call around and you may be able to get decent deals on them. Also keep a eye out on ebay. I'll PM you a dealers that I will be dealing with for now on since he really handled the sale of my Bully Dog unit well.
The install is something a average mechanic can do in a lazy weekend if they wanted. The biggest issue is routing the fuel return from the FASS back to the fuel tanks. Once you figure out a place to mount it you will have to figure on what fittings and amount of hose you will need. I installed my in about 15 hours with two injured ankles...long story...
Also there are 2 (or maybe 3) different GPH units. I installed the 200 GPH (highest) since I am planning on big HP/TQ, but for the average application the lower GPH rating would be more than enough. -
Thanks a lot!!!
