the training always has been up to 8 weeks but usually after 5 weeks they were letting drivers go on there own unless they needed a little more time with a trainer to practice there backing skills or what ever they may need help with
mceheel Thanks this. -
Well I expected to have to go out with a trainer no matter what carrier I chose to drive with that was a given. I was just wondering if having my cdl would help me get through the classes faster.
thanks for the information you all have been really helpful in making my decision to apply to millis -
Other than students/trainee's and people going to driving school, are there any exp. drivers who work there? If ,how are they?Miles, pay, ect?

I read most of the posts in this 39 page forum and I was wondering if they still have the same $500 requirement for you to start school. I have been unemployed for going on 2 months now and would love to start a new career with Millis but coming up with $500 is gonna be really hard to do. That plus the money to live off of while I'm doing training. Any help would be appreciated.

Once you're accepted you have to pay $100 to reserve your seat. I'm assuming they require this to show you are serious about it before spending anymore time/money on you. The first day of school you have to pay the remaining $400.
