Don't apologize. It's not about who's the fastest etc... Safety is always first. If you feel you can't do it, pull over and stop. Don't let dispatch try to get you to run out of hours or do more than you feel safe doing. It's better to be late and safe, than in a ditch because you did more than you're capable of.

If I don't feel I can do it, I stop and communicate with dispatch. The times I needed to reach out to the consignee, they usually understood and didn't reschedule a whole day later etc.

 

Man this really turned out to be ok! You made it man!!! You were able to tolerate that much BS in the early going, that's guarantee you'll jabe longevity in the industry. Well done!

Look, WE is just another trucking company. Do right, be on time the best you can, and don't run into stuff, and you'll be fine.
There'll be aggravations and frustrations, but try to remember that it's quite doubtful that they're intentionally screwing with you; they just largely suck as human beings overall.

Western express. My experience is trucks are break, falling apart. The dispatch, manager will not answer the phone. I feel ignored sometimes, and they do not appreciate the driver
