Where did you have hash browns in your omelette ?? That’s like rice in a burrito. It don’t belong in there.

The quality of food at the Iron Skillets depended on who was manning the grill. Some had the skill of gourmet chefs and others weren't qualified to work at Mc Donald's.

The guy that threw down the vittles at the Iron Skillet in Effingham was a wizard, an Interstate Bourdain. He deserved his own TV show.

 

The Petro in El Paso is getting a Black Bear Diner.

 

Yes! Well said, my friend. Denny's pancakes always taste artificial and get tough the longer they
sit out, while IHOP pancakes actually taste like buttermilk and other real ingredients. Still, Black
Bear will be a welcome sight for the Petros I visit.

Is that the OG Petro? I don't know. Also, I was just at the San Antonio Petro and they had a sign saying that the last day for the restaurant to be open is 9/30. Didn't catch what they're replacing it with.

Their is TA in Hebron ohio that has Bob Evans restaurant, it's good. Seems like lots of local people stop in to eat there also.

 

Haven't eaten at an Iron Skillet in over 15 years, IHOP in three years, and Denny's in a year. Never heard of Black Bear Diner.

Now I want Chipotle.
