If you’re goin where I think you’re going off Tenbrook don’t follow your gps. There’s a 12’0 bridge. You have to go in off Telegraph.57 model, bryan21384, mdmgolfin and 2 others Thank this.

That one was a short wait. Was only an hour an seven minutes. I've always wondered how you can haul loads like your getting an the ammo isn't considered hazardous. Yea light loads are nice an it was funny how ya said that.57 model, bryan21384 and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Oh yeah, I had delivered there last month. The funny thing was, the company directions were routing me with GPS directions. Last time, I was exploring the area, and I wasn't too certain about the directions they gave me. Turned out I had good instincts because trucks aren't on that side of Arnold Tenbrook Rd. I ended up going off of Telegraph last time, like you mentioned. If I remember right, I think there are some signs that indicate a truck route to get to that customer. I meant to write it down in the review last time I went there. I also gotta correct the company's directions because the ones they gave will get someone a ticket for real.57 model, MartinFromBC, motocross25 and 2 others Thank this.

Lol Hell that load ended being 13k! Even better! I picked there about a month ago and it was Hella light then. I've got about 4½ hrs to get up there if they'll take it around midday. I think I'm with you ok ammo being hazardous. It seems like it would be considered hazmat. I wonder what placard they'd use......did ya manage to get out of there with enough time to avoid a battle with the worst of Indy traffic?57 model, MartinFromBC and mdmgolfin Thank this.

Yea i sailed right thru indy. We're staged at the truck stop up the hill from palmyra. Got a message about 19:30 from dispatch to not go into palmyra cuz their computers are down so they're not receiving loads tonight. Dispatch is supposed to let us know in the morning when to go deliver.57 model, MartinFromBC, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this.

We would pickup 12, 13, 15 pallets at a time of ammo in Quincy IL when I did LTL. And it was always a battle with the bosses the next day. One manager would say it needed “Explosive 1.4 S” placard. “S” being a subcategory of hazard class 1.4. So we would do that. The next day we would get in trouble from some other supervisor for placarding a non hazmat load because it’s considered “limited quantity”. So then we wouldn’t placard it the following week and then get in trouble from the first manager because we didn’t placard a hazmat load. Long story short it was a complete #### show and I still don’t know who or what was right. But these are the ones we would put on when we did.

We're still sitting out by palmyra. Dispatch is checking to see if we can drop our loads at the truck stop. Then we can pull an empty out of hershey's even with the computers down i guess an go live load somewhere tomorrow i would imagine. Still sucks tho cuz we'll be looking at two an a half days lost with maybe some layover pay for it.
bryan21384 and mdmgolfin Thank this.
