OP, it’s “Cummins”ATLAS81, Magoo1968, Midwest Trucker and 8 others Thank this. -
How much are you paying for that truck?
-
2013? Hope you got a brother thats a mechanic or a good cash reserve. But then, if you had a cash reserve you wouldnt even look at a used truck....

Don’t buy it. Best advice you will get.
ATLAS81, Midwest Trucker, baha and 6 others Thank this. -
If it’s a Cummins ISX(and I’m betting it is) caveat emptor. ISX engines are known for being maintenance intensive as they get up there in age-especially in trucks from around the 2012-2014 years. EGR valves and turbochargers were typically the first things to fail on those engines and the used truck market is flooded with them, regardless if the truck is a Freightliner,Volvo,KW and so on.

That is driving an average speed of just under 3200 MPH to go 547000 miles in just 171 hours.
That is a fast truck, definitely buy it.
At $4/mile, you'll be rich and ready to retire by month 3. -

Now a serious answer, DO NOT BUY IT!!!
