Hopefully that salvaged one works good for you. It is one thing after another. I do not miss those days in my old truck.

Yeah, it really burns my arse that someone pays $180,000 (maybe more) for a brand new truck and it starts giving them problems from the get-go. It just isn't right. We are not dealing with chump change here. Hell, even the interiors on these trucks are cheap. Raise your hand if your drawers or shelves are broken in some way.

LOL. Amen brother. Been in this business long enough to know sometimes the start can be a little rough and eventually it will all work out the bugs and the problems.

Its completely unacceptable for what we get for our money. Charge me an extra 10k at this point and build something that can take the punishment we give it. All my cars seem very well belt and run flawlessly. Why can't they do the same?

Please get me the name and address of the idiot engineer that decided a $2300 headlight assembly replacement was a good idea? I would like to punch them in the face.

Glad you got a chuckle out of it. Sometimes a little laughter helps us through the times.

For the price of a new truck, or even the cost of an APU, I'm still confused as to why we can't have an actual thermostat instead of manually selecting heat or cooling. I can very rarely sleep through the night without having to wake up and adjust temperature.

Welp got her working again grand total was $13,765.88 plis two full weeks of downtime getting parts. But i have a new turbo, actuator and entire EGR assembly. They also checked everything and near as we can tell the truck is in good shape. All injectors are smack in the middle of spec and it passed the turbo, blowby and dyno tests.

Also holy jesus on a pogostick, i knew my truck was ballless before, But thing almost blew me through the back wall driving it with a turbo actully AT rated boost. I never knew how BAD it actully was

Don’t give up on it. Once you get it sorted out you’ll know all the problems and have confidence in it.

Depends on the big fleet. I bought a TMC truck and couldn’t be happier.
