I hear ya, I've spoke to a bunch of guys and the money they are making I just ask myself how it's possible as a company guy.
Expenses are nuts right now. Guys like my self who are leased on to companies are lucky to take 40 percent home of your gross revenue. And your bills, truck payments and maintenence eat in to that real quick.
There is money out there no doubt. Finding it is the hard partLast edited: Oct 13, 2022

It's not easy out west. Truck payment or not. Fuel is killing everyone right now. Easily extra 5k plus a month and the rates haven't moved much to keep up with fuel increase.EvertonP Thanks this.

Time to haul different things, and also go straight to the source and haul direct.
There is a lot of money out there to be made, but not if you don't up your game.Another Canadian driver and MSQUARED Thank this. -

Seems like no matter were I go same story. Not to mention the start up Costs at new company. Just feel like why jump from the pot to the frying pan.
I figure we probably averaging right now 3 bucks a running mile or so give or take. With today's fuel it's toughAnother Canadian driver, Canadianhauler21 and MartinFromBC Thank this. -
That’s nuts that you’re still having a tough go @ $3.00 a running mile. Costs are crazy now.Another Canadian driver and MSQUARED Thank this.

Fuel right now is costing 30 percent of your gross, then add in insurance plates and what ever your company takes for leasing on and it adds up quick.Last edited: Oct 16, 2022

Insurance shouldn't be much more then 18-22 cents a mile plates less the 5 cents if your run 10k mi a month
