Yes it’s a good road. They were paving parts of it last year. Just don’t get hungry need to poop or run low on fuel.

If you don’t have the hours to make it all the way to Hardin then stop in Broadus for your break.

It used to be an awesome road, but now the GPS considers it a preferred route and there's way to many idjits that run it. It's an okay route, nowadays.

Beware of aggressive passers. And don't be an aggressive passer. It's essentially a two lane road all the way. Otherwise, a decent route.

One other thing I must add is that the natives get theyre money from uncle Sam on the 1st of the month and it's party time so from Hardin to Belle fourch gets dicey after dark especially if the 1st falls on a Friday.
The worst of it is from crow agency to Broadus, one night I camped in Hardin and took off Saturday morning headed east and the ditches were littered with wrecked cars and pickups from the Friday night festivities.
It was many years ago tho and maybe they have got that issue under control now.
Oh and God help you if you break down in that area....especially after dark.Crude Truckin', dunchues, agr78 and 4 others Thank this.
