Linde definitely has the food issue down. They buy food for the whole plant.
The saftey guy here is pretty good, he is thorough while still skipping any thing repetitive or BS.
Cryo companies after all the mergers...who's good to work for?

Sounds delicious.
Especially "Thursday". I'd be curious to learn what Linde considers good BBQ.
Here in the "Deep South"....I judge a BBQ restaurant by the quality/flavor of their Brunswick Stew.
But I really like Texas BBQ--a good brisket can be totally out of this world.
Do keep us posted on your progress.....

Maybe I should put in an app to keep the smoker going at these training sessions.
I wonder what that might do for driver retention/morale, there?

Thread related question- can someone tell me what kind of transmissions Messer is running? In the PNW , Vancouver WA if anyone happens to have info that specific. I'm looking at applying with them once I have a year at ABF. I haven't driven a stick shift in six years so I'd be sweating the driving test a bit. -
GSOK Thanks this.

Thank you. -
Operational discipline and critical thinking is the number one trait for a driver in this business.
They will not tolerate a driver that can not follow the operating procedures.RockinChair and Rodeorowdy Thank this. -
Also, are you out of Garfield? I'm one of the other team drivers there. If you're not on a jumbo, prepare to be unfortunately familiar with US93 until like, February when TSMC opens. Phoenix needs so much argon right now its not even funny. Also, if you're loading in Wilmington there's a pothole at the bottom of the curve on the ramp off Hwy 1. Watch out for it, it'll wake your teammate right up and send things flying.
Did they stick you with J or L for training?scott180 Thanks this. -
We go 3 trips a week to IN to pickup, just to service our customers here in MN and I've talked with guys from AL and the east coast doing the same. -
@Dennixx --
What's this about a shortage of argon, nationwide?
I've read that argon is very abundant in the earth's atmosphere.
Is this really about a shortage of drivers to deliver it?
Or....is there more to it than that?
