They say it's going to get worse before it gets better, I sure hope it doesn't

Use Google maps to find trucking companies near you and just go there and knock on the door .

And , uh, you might wanna consider being a little more polite to members of the sites where you go to ask for help .

Come on back down here, we'll take you back.

edit: You said you're 25 miles east of Kansas City. IIRC LaFarge has a cement plant in Liberty or somewhere up that way (it's been years since I loaded there) and Central Plains has a plant in Sugar Creek. There are bound to be pneumatic companies hauling out of those places.

Wow, not every company posts jobs on Craigslist or indeed.

To be exact many avoid these sites.

Many companies depend on word of mouth and there are companies hiring in every Midwest state, no exceptions.

So there are two problems with this industry and the drivers.

First people really don’t want to work, they want to be offered jobs, companies running to them like many other companies are doing lately.

The other problem is they think they deserve $100k for $50k worth of work while at the same time this is the best and easiest job they ever had or could ever get, their last job they were busting their butt for $30k but they don’t want to work for the money.
