    Excellent!

It's ok guys, he was in a hurry to get back to his flower shop to preach "safety on the road" to his delivery drivers.

Dont worry... he's on his phone now, calling the office to tell them he'll be a little late (while he swings by the rental agency so they wont see how he busted the grill of that Caddy to smithereens with those barrels).

You know they keep wanting to apply more regulations and oversight and laws to commercial drivers out there. If they really want to clean up the roads they need to go after these four wheelers. It’s gotten completely out of control. The stuff I see on a daily basis is pure insanity. People driving like they’re on a NASCAR race track. Just weaving in and out of traffic. People changing lanes a foot off the front of my bumper. crossing multiple lanes at a time. People driving 90+ miles per hour and 55 and 60 mph speed zones. Yeah, there’s the occasional bad truck driver but they’re far and few between compared to these four wheelers that are causing all the accidents.

If the government truly wanted safer roads they would start enforcing driving on the four wheelers. This is where the problem is at.

Now, now, if they regulated the 4 wheelers like they did 18 wheelers they would lose revenue on the big fines they give drivers. They would also cripple the economy further. How would the 4 wheelers get to their 9-5 jobs and keep the economy afloat after all the licenses were suspended or revoked and their cars all towed and impounded. You would be starving the ambulance chasers' children out as well. Spewing this kind of talk is just plain un-American and must be obliterated by the thought police. Be careful posting this kind of stuff, big brother is always watching.

Always loved how people would cry about speed cameras but not make the connection that if they didn't speed, they wouldn't get a ticket. No ticket = no revenue to the city. No revenue = no more cameras.

Cameras can work both ways. A poorly driving 4 wheeler can get caught on those cameras just as well. There truly are more poor 4 wheel drivers on the road than professional truck drivers. I honestly do not care if there are cameras all over the truck for the company I go to. Even if the company does not want to back me up and my driving record up, a camera can and would show the dangerous maneuvers of a 4 wheeler that caused an accident. I can at least keep my own MVR etc. clean after a LEO investigation. We need to protect ourselves in this environment against the companies, the motoring public, and the regulatory body any way we can.

Some of the YouTube comments are arguing that the trucker was at fault

Somehow it’s ok for a car to just race up to the end and expect to get right in?

Some of those clowns don’t have an inkling of a clue. Truck was already in control of the lane up to the merge point. Cadillac driver waited too late to try to get ahead of the truck. And normally for construction zone lane closures there’s usually two miles of signs warning people before the merge point.
Classic case of someone who didn’t want to be stuck behind a semi.
