I saw a new reason for a fuel stop taking longer than it should at a Pilot. I was trying to leave after getting fuel and after the line ahead of me cleared out I saw a refer trailer dropped in the middle of the exit row. It was tilting forward in the front with a tractor off to side in front of it with a heavy duty wrecker on the other side. It looked like the trailer fell off the tractor and the wrecker was going to pick it up, but I'm not sure how they made it that far unless they overshot the fifth wheel.
That was a weird day too, earlier I spent too much time getting weighed after the CAT scale software was down. When they got it to kind of work the scale ticket showed my truck being 53,000 pounds overweight. The reweigh was only 65,000 pounds though, not sure how they got that first reading.MIT Thanks this. -
'Profound delays' ahead as Georgia DOT begins 8 month lane closures on I-285 in Atlanta.
Am I glad I don't have to do the Watermelon 500 anymore.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Man, you're the type of trainer i need? Non-smoker?

I know what you mean, the last person I tried to train was "vetted" by the company. HVAC trades dude out of Chicago, handed him a pair of pliers to hold a nut so i could ratchet off a bolt and he honestly opened it and looked at it truly perplexed like it was a Star Trek Phaser.
I feel sorry for my trainer when i start in several weeks. I have it on good authority that i snore like a grizzly battling a chainsaw.MIT Thanks this. -
Ughhh what a gut punch.

That's exactly what I said when I saw this news.

I was driving in my car on the tollway when I saw a familiar looking maroon T680 coming up behind me in an unfamiliar way. I was doing 70 and they were going faster than that, enough so they kind of zipped on by. The pin stripes told me it had been a Millis truck, but the speed told me it wasn't any more.
MIT, JOHNQPUBLIC and dwells40 Thank this. -
I have been here 4 years already. Time flies when you are having fun. So as I sat in a 2 hr traffic delay today on I75 south just before 285 in Atlanta I realized I really miss weekends.
Still undecided and jackoboyo Thank this. -
Having weekends off is almost as nice as sleeping at home.

Army sleep system and a sleep mat and under the trailer you go for the night!
