The BFG’s don’t have the woke Green-X compound that Mic’s have so they won’t have the same premature sidewall cracking issues. Other then that they are same tire construction.Short Fuse EOD Thanks this.

Availability, I always run 16ply steers, better selection in 11r.Short Fuse EOD Thanks this.

I got Michelin last year. I'm not sure but they were out by this year. They didn't last after 70.000 miles. I got Michelin again thinking I needed an alignment--extra $1,600 this month for new tires, balance, and alignment I wasn't planning on spending.
Elroythekid Thanks this. -
So prices went up since February
What would be suggestions now?
Nobody in Phoenix has Michelin, other more less known brands are $700-800 each… -
Steer tires are rarely an impulse buy. You can order them and have them shipped.

Like from where?
I mean… it still will be 700-800 bucks

I bought Firestone 11R24.5/16 FS591 for around $525 from Southern Tire Mart in August 2021. This included all fees/mount/balance.
Drives were Firestone 11R24.5/14 FD690 PLUS. $450 each everything included.
Always wondered how much they are now.Rideandrepair, Siinman, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this. -
You can grab mich steer 16 ply for 650 or so online. I got mine at boss shop installed with casing credit for about that much a month ago.Rideandrepair, Siinman and Kairen0001 Thank this.

I just bought two FD 663 from there in that size. $535 each out the door, and I installed them myself, so figure a bit more for installation. Not the same tire, but that's all I've got to compare.
Rideandrepair, Siinman and JoeyJunk Thank this.
