Seriously, who the hell is running these cars, especially trucks and SUV's? Is it the 9 & 10 car guys? I mean seriously who is running that #### that cheap?
Who the hell is doing single pick/drop .50/mile cars?

There’s seems to be an onslaught of 3-5 car 5th wheels runnin around like morons...Seems like they’ve increased 1000% of the last year or soBlue jeans, EvertonP, Hammer166 and 1 other person Thank this. -
We see quite a bit of that around here but they're starting to drop off the screen. Like most small and poorly financed outfits they're going broke and are slowly waking up to the fact that hauling cheaper isn't better.
Too bad they waited so long to admit that to themselves.
I get calls every day from hotshots and small car haulers asking if we have any work. The very fact that they're calling a company like ours shows that they have no real idea of what the market is and who's doing what.
Patience. If you can make it through the next year or so things should improve. -
I was in a rest area in Maryland on a Friday afternoon and there was 7 of them parked empty for the weekend. I went in and talked to the visitor booth lady to see if she had contact with the state patrol. She said it was a constant problem. Kick a group out and another would show up.

Here in north Texas they’re running around like ants. None of them know how to park. They take up two spots and it’s screw you to the big rigs. I honestly don’t know how they’re staying in business.

So many of them won't haul anything that's not COD or very quick pay... They literally need the cash to be able to pay for their next tank of fuel.
And there's plenty of them running without a CDL because of the artificially low trailer GVW ratings on the wedgies.Blue jeans, Hulld, EvertonP and 2 others Thank this. -
When I was hauling cars Manheim auctions were overrun with them most barely spoke any English.
