I will say another thing
Not everyone can make the big $$$$ and not everyone should
The better pay comes with hard work
I have seen guys yell up and down at the dock getting loaded
Do they think that guy on the forklift really has any say?
And those same guys who now are job jumping because shippers won’t deal with them wonder why the next guy is on vacation
Where is the big money at?

It’s like a marriage
Some have been married for decades and they look like newlyweds
Others are on marriage number 5
Why?
It’s all the same thing. A marriage right?
Some just know what to say and when to shut up
Same in ANY business
I have had many job offers just from the way I act, look, and my equipment
Not pumping myself up but if anyone looks and acts the part then at some point they will be rewarded for it -
I knew it was something simple I was missing. Thanks for clearing that up!Albertaflatbed, Another Canadian driver and GYPSY65 Thank this.

It used to be a truck stop in Tucson Az. I don't know if it's still there, I haven't been out there in over 25 years.

I don't like to see anybody haul cheap freight.
If I was at a good carrier that had their own good paying customers I would let people know about it.
After all if they stay at a carrier giving out cheap quotes they might be the ones my company loses theie customers too.
Then bye bye pie @PoleCrusher
This race to the bottom this industry is in is hurting us all
We should be looking to uplift one another.and try to escape cheap rates.LoneRanger, UItraman, Chieftains and 1 other person Thank this. -

You understand when you are leased on to a company that the other drivers within that company are your competition? You know how many guys would love to find your contacts then undercut you? Leasing on is no different than the spot market, from that perspective. When i was with dsv.. I was doing the same work as others... There was like 5 of us when it was busy working the same jobsites everyday... But dont think for a second, that we were all making the same money..Siinman, GYPSY65 and Another Canadian driver Thank this.
