Naw, that ain't it, and I ain't havin' it.
I can tell this 10 different times, in 10 different ways, and it is still the truth.
There are comments posted after I made the original post that I tried to answer,
and new details that I added to clarify the original post.
Nothing is changed.
You would do - (fill in the blank) - in this situation?

If you really want to know how it goes... Please answer me what to "clarify" means? You mentioned 80 ramp east and hammer lane, what does hammer lane mean? You also mentioned that the design is "crap" so I would assume you have an engineering background and if so, please let the court know about that! Do you get my drift now?? If not I could go on!!Last edited: Oct 29, 2022

Are you kidding me?
So I am trying to tell my story, and it doesn't suit you.
You are a truck driver and don't know which lane is the hammer lane?
And, for your edification, let the court record show that I held a position
at Tobyhanna Army depot, where I worked for over 15 years, as an Engineering Tech.
How many radar systems and missile components have you worked on?
Furthermore, you don't need to be an Engineer to see that an On ramp,
merging into a Passing, or Hammer lane, is a dangerous design;
especially with interstate traffic coming down a 2 mile hill.
Happy now?
Court dismissed,
I asked for advice from truck drivers.Numb Thanks this. -
Not reading other response’s, lost me at 2 minutes of air horndrh72 Thanks this.
-
You too?
I was trying to stop the guy.
How would you do it? -
Not reading anything into the incident or your responses but what he may have meant imho is if you had enough time to recognize a potential incident you should have gotten off the throttle and or applied brake.
As a professional we are taught to assess constantly by keeping your eyes moving to get a complete picture of what's happening.
By the first post,at least the way I read it, you saw what was about to happen and chose to try and warn him instead of taking a proactive action.
I get the anger from a close call or wreck, by from all descriptions, a brain dead operator, but it will serve you better going forward to anticipate stupidity before it affects you, either mentally or physically. -
I do know what the hammer lane is and you just made my point again. Comprehension isn't your strong s suit I see! Again, I would just let your insurance hammer it out!!
-
I wrote that I have no comp/collision coverage on my truck previously.
And who is it again that has the comprehension issue?
Look, this is pointless.
I was right next to the trailer and he came right over.
Superman couldn't have avoided it.
Monday morning 7:00 A.M. I'm going over to the owners office.drh72 Thanks this. -
I do wish you well!! I am sorry this happened to you!! I would ask you? if you believe in Superman, well good for you...if not Please hire a lawyer!! If you didn't get it....a Lawyer will ask YOU about superman since YOU brought it into the conversation.Last edited: Oct 29, 2022
