Depends on the make of the truck I had an F 150 do that same thing and I did fuel filter and pump and after all that it was the airflow sensor.

It will be some point between the air filter box and the throttle body. It may be integrated into the air filter housing, at the outlet to the throttle body.DeereRunner97, Cattleman84, Dale thompson and 5 others Thank this.

No airflow sensor on that. Should be a TBI engine in 1995. Weak fuel pump could be the cause, there is no test port on those. I have a fabbed one that installs in place of the fuel filter. Spec is 13-15 psi...
Easiest way to diagnose is to shoot the injectors with a timing light hooked up, and rev the engine with your other hand and check for a degrading spray pattern..DeereRunner97, Cattleman84, Dale thompson and 9 others Thank this.
