Do you suppose maybe the wastegate shouldn't be pinched off?
The mileage difference between pinched and open is pretty conclusive.

Yeah I don’t really want to run it with the wastegate pinched,but getting that .7 mpg increase and a obvious power increase

I had that 5.0 - 5.4 mpg average but it suddenly it went to crap until I pinched the wastegate last night and that got me back to 5

Start with a good tune up. The #1 reason for poor fuel mileage is boost leaks. #2 is overhead adjustment. Check the pressure side by blocking off turbo inlet and pressure up the left side with a regulator set at 10 psi. Spray everything down and fix even the minute leaks. Then run a good over head and see where your at.
