I thought I'd drop a note to let my fellow Climateers know I'm still pounding out them Climate Miles. Sitting at the Loves at exit 165 on I 71, delivers to Smith Foods in Orrville tomorrow, then go home. On a bit of bad news,1153 took a hit this morning just before Indy. It was around 0530 this morning, it was a bit foggy, and very dark. A pickup pulling one of those big ### big tex gooseneck trailers, passed me but came back over to soon, tore a sizeable Chunk of fiberglass of the left side of the front bumper, and the car ramp which was in the upright position, tore off the left front hood mirror. He never stopped! Rob asked if I could drive without the mirror, that was funny, since in all my years of driving, this is only the second truck I ever had that has hood mirrors. Well the truck now has 410000 miles on so hopefully they'll give me a new one. So MDM is the new job what you were hope for? So to the rest of my brothers, y'all stay cool on that stool. More later

This is a good reason to have fwd facing cameras because it would’ve caught that vehicle and possibly the plate numbers etc.

We do have fwd looking cameras. It is on video, however Rob said in the video you can see what happened, but this guy had no lights on that trailer, and no license plate that is visible.

Well at least the damage wasn't severe. That piece out of the bumper looks to be that removable section anyways. Super happy you're ok. Fiberglass is replaceable but you're not. We're headed to st louis. Gotta drop then grab a fricks load to chicago for morning. Then going home.
