Here again my specialty of giving advise that I do not take. First get her to a good councilor. Maybe take a trip to see kids and grand kids, maybe find a councilor there. So its away from home and therapy. Maybe get back on the truck while repairs are made to home. I've witnessed what a good crisis councilor can do for a person.

Like D said German shepherd or a Doberman if you want a little bit less hair to vacuum. The 3 my parents had were all big babies but anyone new showing up they didn't let their guard down until they saw from you it was ok.

They will follow you everywhere even in the bathroom. At a young age you have to get them used to separation so they don't have anxiety

My father in law just walked away after he picked up a few things. He had a place in a retirement type development. Roof gone and one wall pushed completely out…

One of my friends has always had Rhodesians. They had 2 with them when his family came here from S.A. in the early ‘70’s. You don’t have to worry about your kids much with one of those around. I had a Karelian years ago. He was a pretty torquey little guy too. Great dog around the the kids, but anything with 4 legs and fur he went after. Field mouse or Grizzly Bear, he didn’t care, he was going to try to kill it.

IMG_20170524_144157114_HDR.jpg Ridgebacks are a very loyal and protective breed. Had mine going on 9 years. She'll let you know exactly where the property lines are.
They do enjoy the chase very much, if it moves, it'll get chased.
My Uncle raises them near Greenville MI. They have become a very popular breed, last time I talked to him he had a 2 year waiting list.
