A good little tractor with 3 point; Add a scoop, a blade, and a hole digger. Will do 90 % of what you need. Just get the feel of the hydraulics and a little patience.

That's riff raff ( riprap ) for the wash areas ( darker dirt areas ). About 80% of it is getting spread where it is, and used for border. This why God put the loader bucket on the other end of the hoe.

But you could pretty easily do it with the hoe.

I demo'd out these old light tower footings on hill and scooped those out with a BIG ### excavator. Like a 4 or 5 foot bucket on that bad boy.

Two or three foot bucket on a backhoe pick those right up.

Wow, That's far enough out to be using route # and box # for mail. Barely on the grid....

Ah, so...Vision shown. And true, size does matter in Rip/Rap (MS/AL) and bucket dimensions

I'll post a pic of the dirt I'm going to have him remove, then put that base back.

That's cause it's part of the wash. It doesn't get wtf deep, six inches maybe, but it turns to mud.

The base won't turn to mud.

Going to take the dirt out, put base back so it doesn't change the elevation.

Just dump the base down, and compact it, it would create a little dam.

Would love to see that country out there again. All changed so much, and some not for the better probably. "Adequate" water would really do a makeover on some of it. But, the the beauty of the desert and cactus would be gone. Serious on these comments.

We have plenty of water. It's just several hundred feet down.

Rhonda has a swimming pool lol.

Something like 80% of the water that comes from the snow up in Flagstaff and those mountains percolates into the ground.

It's actually one of the biggest aquifers in the country.
