Wow, I really appreciate the feed back guys. I didn't expect this much interest. Here is another google pic showing the front a little better. The closest thing I could find out of all your suggestions is a mid 60s REO, but even that still isn't an exact match. The only difference I'm seeing on this rig is that the double frenched in headlights don't square off the fenders as they are on the REO. These fenders maintain their curve and the headlights are frenched in toward the top of the fenders. I will definitely be taking a ride out to it this weekend to see if the property owner will let me check it out. It looks like the front windshield is shattered from this angle, bummer!!!

Can someone help me ID this rig???

Saw a cabover sleeper bullnose diamond T at an auction site
-
Think it was at this one
two brothers just sold over 1000 trucks they’ve collected over the years

I was just watching the YouTube video of the guys previewing all those trucks. They had a lot of Diamond T pickups.
-
Yes the headlights threw me a bit. I believe those are Diamond T 950 fenders on a 921 cab and hood.
-
Yeah and a couple of them were tow trucks
they had some awesome stuff
But I’ve never seen a diamond T bullnose cabover
guy doing the video said he didn’t bid on it because it was so rare and hard to find parts for .
I got a chuckle out of the guy showing up a couple weeks ahead of the auction and trying to buy stuff cheap before the auction , and then complaining that all the trucks sold for too high a price . -
The quad headlights were a “western” option back in those days. Having those fenders on a 921 that came from a western state west of the Mississippi would not surprise me at all.Jubal Early Times and IH9300SBA Thank this.

REO cabs and fenders are completely different in many details. What you are trying to id is 100% a Diamond T 921 with “western” 950/ 951 fenders and quad headlights. A direct optional bolt on. It also has Peterbilt front bumper. Which seems to have been a common customizing thing to do. My ‘51 has a polished aluminum one off of a late 60’s Pete my uncle bolted on decades ago.
this is the REO built cab. As far as I know they did not use the I-H cab like T did. REO and T both used the white/autocar corporate cab mixed in with various models.Hammer166, REO6205, Jubal Early Times and 1 other person Thank this. -
Can't fault a guy for trying, heck that's how good auctioneers operate on the daily.
