    Just go here: https://reddit.com/r/truckers

You don't need to make an account unless you want to comment or post something.

Careful if you join the r/truckers reddit group, you can get easily banned from posting just because the mods want to think you did something to violate the TOS and they wont even bother discussing it with you.

I think this forum is the best place due to how popular it is.

For Owner Ops, another group on reddit is r/freightbrokers if you just want to look at stuff having to do with brokers. But from what I have heard that sub has a bit of prejudicism against truck drivers since it's for brokers to chat with each other so tread carefully. Probably best to just read.

I second the commenters that mention Facebook. There are many forums, some closed, some open. OP, just type "trucking" in the search bar and see if anything appeals to you.

There used to be a lot of forums online before social media really took hold. Personally I was partial to browsing Layover, Truckersroad and the Pumpkin patch where the Schneider folks hung out back when they were a cult.

I believe they vanished because keeping up with server maintenance, patching software, and keeping out spam is a huge job. So give these fine folks at Truckersreport their due, they put a lot of work into this community. :)

Also, Truckersreport has been around for a long time. There's gold in the archives here. Just about any question you might have has been asked and answered numerous times. You asked your question, not knowing you were already visiting one of the best resources that currently exist.

    Cheers! :)

Aw, we are no longer a cult? Just started with them, and I want to act weird with other people...

They used to be super protective of their carrier. Like a bunch of siblings. They could criticize, but if an outsider said a single bad thing about SNI in that forum, and it was the digital equivalent of a beating.

I thought it was really cool.
They readily admitted their pay was low and the trucks were slow;—but they loved their company regardless. Because of the culture.

Best of luck @cdubose, I hope you love it as much as they did.

His pants were worn for sitting in that Freight Shaker all day, 7 days a week for 45 days. I hope that clears it up for you.

TTR is popular because it's the best.
    Nothing compares to it.
