There are none. Lease Purchase is a scam.Another Canadian driver and DRTDEVL Thank this.

None, really. They are specifically engineered to take money out of the driver's pocket and put it in the company's account. The only successful way would be to lease a truck completely separate from the company and operate it under someone's authority (or your own). That way if they start messing with your money, you can just take your rented truck and move to another company. When you are locked into a company and their freight slows, it costs them nothing to idle you and everything to idle their own trucks, thereby leaving you with short weeks (or months) and no recourse.Another Canadian driver and Stringb8n Thank this.

Aint that the truth. Besides, nothing like the feeling of telling a company not working hard enough for you to shove it and peeling their decals off your truck and going on down the road. Majority of those LP programs, that is a mere fantasy that they will make certain doesn't become a reality for you.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

There are very few. Some have said they did well with Schneider. I "heard" ACT had a decent one. But remember, this is a business, not just a driving job.Constant Learner, Another Canadian driver, Opus and 2 others Thank this.

So what you're really trying to say is, "it's not just a job, it's an adventure!" At one time a small but up and coming company offered to supply the equipment necessary for the adventure/business side of the equation. At one time you could have been cruising down the interstate in a well appointed large car (with well under 2 million miles) with a brand new mattress, pointy lugnut covers and your choice of reclining girl chrome mudflaps or Yosemite Sam BACK OFF mudflaps. All this was backed up by a company that cared about you and your family, friends and neighbors and random people you meet on the street. Those were the glory days of truck leasing.dunchues, 88 Alpha, N00bLaLoosh and 5 others Thank this.

Seems like I've heard of them.....88 Alpha, N00bLaLoosh, homeskillet and 4 others Thank this.

That's the problem....everybody heard of them. As in, they liked to hijack threads and get them so far off topic that everybody forgot what they were about to start with.88 Alpha, exhausted379, Crude Truckin' and 3 others Thank this.

Blame it on my marketing director, @Lonesome his superior abilities brought us to the point where the mere mention of my company in conjunction with the word lease would send folks into a tizzy for and against. Not to worry TTR I'll try not to refer to those 7 letters that brought so much controversy into our midst but from now on I'll refer to it only in the past tense as - - - -&- - -.dunchues, 88 Alpha, N00bLaLoosh and 5 others Thank this.
